The project focuses on the conceptual design of on-site wastewater treatment and reuse systems for Instituto Elos's new headquarters in Santos (SP). The site comprises a series of buildings, including a dining hall, accommodation, an administrative building, a laundry and event areas. The project provides for systems strategically distributed across the site, with processes that not only treat the wastewater but also allow by-products such as biogas, sludge and treated water to be reused. The planned systems have different configurations depending on the intended uses and spaces, using technologies such as biodigesters, compartmentalized septic tanks, constructed wetlands and banana circles.
