Design of domestic wastewater treatment and reuse and stormwater management systems for a rural property in Serra do Japi - Jundiaí (SP). Serving up to 40 people with intermittent use, the project involves three different systems serving different buildings. The system was designed to handle all wastewater streams on the property, with water reuse for non-potable purposes (such as landscape irrigation, planting and floor washing). The designed systems combine prefabricated biodigesters with constructed wetlands, treating toilet wastewater and greywater (from showers and sinks) separately. In addition to the treatment and water reuse systems, on-site sludge management systems were designed and implemented.
